    Question

okay, my boyfriend has peeling skin on the head of his penis; it's staph. he didnt know this before we had unprotected sex, but he had it then. do i probably have it? did he get it from someone else? please help, i'm having a melt down!

    Answer

Staph Aureus is a normal finding on the skin. It is a bit hard to answer your question because I have no information on your boyfriend. I don't know who diagnosed him, if they did a culture, if he has a sore or fever or just a rash.

If you have symptoms of pain, fever, vaginal discharge, abdominal discomfort then please go to the doctor right away.

If you do not have any symptoms, I don't think you should worry at all. However, this is a very good reason to use condoms every time you have sexual intercourse. No exceptions, unless you are trying to get pregnant. Good Luck!
