Question
I've been sexually active for a long time but started intercourse about 6 months ago. Lately, I have sex about once or so a week. I'm taking depo. I just got off my period and had sex last night. I noticed that I was bleeding down there and the first time or two i peed it burned. Tonight I noticed that my vagina is peeling and I'm having a brown discharge. I've also noticed that I bleed during/after intercourse sometimes. What do you think could be wrong?
Answer
Brown discharge and bleeding during intercourse both suggest you be examined and tested for sexually transmitted infections. Please make an appointment with a doctor or Planned Parenthood Clinic.
