    Question

hi, my name is Q and i'm dating a much older man who is very abusive. how can i deal with my emotions knowing that i love him so much, but then again knowing he is no good for me?

    Answer

I am so sorry that you are in this position and that it is not clear to you that you need out of this relationship, into counseling, and to be in a safe place so that you can heal and move on with your life.

You are worthy of "real love" and anyone who abuses you is getting what they need, at your expense, which is imitation love. It may feel good during the nonabusive moments, but they will never end. Please check out Teens Experiencing Abusive Relationships (TEAR) for help: http://teensagainstabuse.org/index.php.
