    Question

Since i am from a developing country information on HIV is limited here. i want to know if someone takes in saliva of an HIV infected person, then is he at the risk of getting infected even if he has no cuts or ulcers in the mouth?

    Answer

Saliva, like sweat and tears, is not considered a risk for HIV. The body fluids you want to avoid are semen, vaginal fluid, and breast milk.
