    Question

I'm 17 years old and about 3 days ago, I lost my virginity to a partner that wasn't a virgin. My hymen bled during the intercourse. It was unprotected sex but there were no ejacualtions. Ever since then my discharge has been completely different. It is dark brown and almost play-dough like and when I wipe myself, there seems to be dots of blood. What is wrong with me, doc?

    Answer

It's hard to say exactly what's going on without an examination. It might be bleeding from the rupture of the hymen and surrounding tissue, or might be due to a sexually transmitted infection. I think it's important that you see your doctor or health care provider for an examination to help us figure it out.
