Question
About a week and a half ago I took a fairly hard kick to the groin. It hurt quite badly the first night but after that it went down and now the pain is basically gone. Although the pain is tolerable to basically non existent, it feels almost like the veins or something in my sac is swollen. What's going on?
Answer
You most likely have a soft tissue injury that will take several weeks to completely resolve. It is a bruise to the soft tissue of the scrotum and testicles. As long as you are not suffering ongoing pain, difficulty urinating, trouble with erection or ejaculation, then I would expect you to completely recover. If you are having any continued problem please see a physician.
