my boyfriend and i (both virgins) were together in my room two days ago. he was in the "mood." we began touching each other but fear came into me. he almost hit his climax close to ejaculate completely, but before that some kind of discharge came out of his penis. what is that fluid? is it in any way effective of getting me pregnant if it is near my vagina? i'm confused, help!

That fluid is called pre-ejaculate and it contains sperm, so can make you pregnant. It sounds like you are getting dangerously close to sex "just happening," so I suggest you make a decision, and if you choose to be sexual, start on birth control!
