Question
I had an aspiration abortion a week ago and I am experiencing a clear watery discharge with very light bleeding. Is this a normal symptom?
Answer
This sounds like normal discharge after an abortion. If the discharge becomes foul-smelling or if you have fever/chills and/or severe abdominal pain you should call your physician. This may be a sign of infection.
