    Question

i'm 14 and my boyfriend fingered me twice. both times it hurt so much! i knew there would be a little pain the first times, but it hurt SOOO much. is that normal? there was a little blood, but i dont want to get too graphic. i dont know what my hymen is supposed to look like, and i dont know how to find it. a long time ago i fell off my bike and it was very painful. there was some blood. could i have already torn it back then? also because i'm still young and haven't fully gone through puberty, could he have damaged anything?

    Answer

Yes, if he was rough there could be damage to the very delicate vaginal tissue, and he could have broken your hymen, which is a piece of tissue inside your vagina. You are also right in that your cervix is very "soft" because you are not completely grown yet.

Please consider your decision to be sexual at your age - there are so many other things you could be enjoying and there are so many risks associated with sexual activity - having your heart broken, sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy - all of which are more likely the younger you start being sexual.
