Question
My 14 year old has a vaginal discharge for some time, has been seen by her doctor, has been treated, yet tests come back normal. She is not sexually active. so my question is this, Will she always have this discharge or will it go away in time? As she gets older? I hope you'll answer this question as i need answers to better advise my daughter. Thank you. Have a great day.
Answer
Having seen the doctor I assume she exlained that a discharge is normal for vaginal health and that it will change during your daughter's cycle, hopefully only being heavy a small number of days each month - when it is watery - and especially if she is really active during that part of her cycle.
Sorry, but that is really all I can do - if there is not infection, she will just learn to manage it - and probably needs reassurance that it is normal and no one smells it. Good luck!
