    Question

hi, i am 13 almost 14 and i have had my period since i was in 5th grade, so like around 10 or 11. i havent really started a regular cycle, shouldn't i by now? Now i havent had my period for about 3 months and it kind of itches and some discarge. is this normal?

    Answer

It is normal for periods to be irregular for the first few years after starting your periods. However, it's usually best to check in with your doctor if it's been more than 3 months since your last period, if your period is coming more often than every 3 weeks, or if you haven't had your period in the past month and there is any chance you could be pregnant (in other words, if you've ever had sex).
