    Question

I have a concern about my right testicle being up a bit higher than my left. normally, I wouldn't give this any thought, as I am developing. but I get these strange pains that almost feel like someone is squeezing my right testicle. These pains vary in severity and frequency. it would be a huge relief if someone were to tell me that this is normal. I want to schedule a doctor's appointment as a last resort, as it would be very embarrasing if this was just some totally normal thing, and I was wasting money. any help is appreciated, thanks

    Answer

It is totally normal for the testicles to hang at different levels. A little pain now and then is also common, especially if the testicles are not well-supported. But you say the pain varies. If it is ever severe, you really do need to see a doctor about it. If it is really only mild, try wearing supportive underwear (briefs or "tightie whities" instead of boxers).
