    Question

I want counseling, so how do I tell my parents?

    Answer

Please just be direct. Tell your parents what you are worried about (describe why your want counseling) and that you need them to help you find a therapist covered by your insurance. The other option is to talk with your doctor or a counselor at school and ask him or her to talk with your parents. Good luck!
