Question

My boyfriend and I had pretty rough sex with a 7.5 inch toy, and two days later I am bleeding excessively. I finished my period about 2 weeks ago. I am tender in my lower abdomen and I am worried. I called the planned parenthood in my neighborhood, but they can't get me in until next week. Should I go to the ER?

Answer

If you are having severe pain causing nausea/vomiting, or any fever/chills you should probably be seen sooner. If you cannot fit in an appointment sooner, ER may be your only alternative.
