Question
I am 17 years old and have been with the same man for a year and a half. We do have sex, and we do not use condoms. I am on orthro evra birth control patch and have been for almost 2 years. For the last 5 days i've been noticing very thick, white vaginal discharge. There isnt itching or anything. The discharge is so thick i can not stick my finger inside my vagina. It has a smell, but not a gross smell. The discharge is very dry. Do you have any clue what this could be? I am very scared since last month they found out i had a ovarine cyst.
Answer
It sounds like a yeast infection. You could try an over-the-counter yeast medicine. If that doesn't work then go to your clinic. Don't have intercourse until this clears up or you might get very itchy afterwards.
