Question
I had an abortion at home with the pills Misoprostol and Mifeprex about two weeks ago. About three days after bleeding I started to experience a very bad odor almost like garbage and severe abdominal cramps. I was tested for STDs two days before the abortion and was negative. No sex since the test. Any suggestions what this might be?

You should make an appointment with your physician to have an exam to rule out a possible vaginal infection and to make sure that the abortion has completed.
