Question
I have brown discharge! Is that normal? I read some of your questions about it being normal after a period. However, mine has occured for the first time before my period! I am not sexually active! What can be the cause?
Answer
We worry when someone has had sex - that the brown discharge may suggest a sexually transmitted infection. If you have never been sexually active, then no worries. If you have been, an exam would be a good idea.
