    Question

i am 16 years of age and i've been wanting to get the mirena IUD for the longest. does planned parenthood provide this? i know my insurance covers it and i know there isn't any bill that my parents will see, and i already have a child. will that be a concern? do my parents have to know about it for me to get it? please answer my question as bluntly as possible. i don't know who else to go to.

    Answer

Yes, the Mirena may be an option for you and Planned Parenthood provides them without your parents needing to know. Please check out their site (www.plannedparenthood.org) for the clinic nearest you. Good luck!
