    Question

Is Trichomonas and crabs and scabies at all the same? or are they different.

    Answer

These are actually all different. Trichomonas is a sexually transmitted parasite that can cause genital burning and itching for both men and women. Crabs are body lice, transmitted between persons in close contact, causing often intense itching. Likewise, scabies are mites that can also be transmitted without sexual contact by persons in close physical contact, and also cause intense itching on the skin. These are all treatable, but with different remedies. For a longer description of these conditions, I recommend you visit the excellent website at the Americal Social Health Association: www.ashastd.org.
