Question
i am 16 years old and i recently gave birth about 2 1/2 months ago. after 4 weeks i had intercourse even though i know i was supposed to wait after six. we did use protection but even before we started intercourse again, i had noticed this brown, odorless discharge between periods. should i be concerned?
Answer
It might be that you are having a little spotting which turns into brownish-type discharge. If you are still breast feeding you may return to regular menstrual cycle or just have irregular spotting (also depends if you are breast feeding/pumpng exclusively or supplementing with formula). If you are concerned, you should make an appointment with your physician to have this checked.
