    Question

After having sex for the first time, do you use a pad and a tampon? How do you get the blood out of the sheets and everything? Are there foods you can eat to help with your iron levels/ blood levels after you bleed a lot?

    Answer

Using a pad would be better if you bleed after first sex, to avoid trapping any bacteria inside your vagina.

Blood can be removed from sheets by treating the stain with Spray and Wash or some other stain removing product and washing in cold water.

A person normally only bleeds a little after their hymen is torn, but a few women bleed a day or two, so eating a healthy diet is fine.
