    Question

I got a brown discharge and thought it was an infection, went to the doctor and got it checked, got pills, cleared it up for like two months, got tested again, didn't have anything. Should I get tested for STD's still?

    Answer

Every time you have unprotected sex you can get a sexually transmitted infection. So if you have had unprotected sex, or you have any symptoms, you should get tested.

Everyone who is sexually active should be checked for sexually transmitted infections annually because condoms are not 100% protection given that some STDs are transmitted via skin-to-skin contact.
