Question

16 M - about a week ago i noticed a rash around my inner thigh. dad said that he had had it too and said it was fungal, so i used Rx cream and it went away. Now, though, my scrotum hurts when pressure is applied and seems to be scabbing. I masturbate 3-5 times a week, not sexually active. Cause?

Answer

Often a tender scabby scrotum is due to skin irritation from something that either irritates or causes excessive skin dryness. For example a harsh soap left in contact with the skin. If it is really tender, though, infection with a bacteria is a possibility, and it would be safest to see a doctor.
