    Question

    how does chlamydia look?

    Answer

A chlamydia infection can be asymptomatic. If you notice abnormal discharge, odor, and/or bleeding/discomfort after intercourse, you should make an appointment with your doctor to rule out a possible vaginal infection and consider STD check. Annual STD screening is recommended if you are sexually active since some types of STDs may not have any symptoms. STD screening is also helpful to prevent possible pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), which can cause infertility in the future. And of course, using condoms every time you have intercourse is recommended to prevent transmission of STDs.
