    Question

my boyfriend just told me his penis bled everyday for a week since we had sex last. now his doctor says he has a wart. what could this mean?

    Answer

It is hard to tell without seeing the wart or talking to your boyfriend's doctor. If he does have a wart, they are typically caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV), which can infect your cervix or vaginal and labial tissues, causing warts and putting you at increased risk for cervical cancer.

Please see YOUR doctor for a complete exam and be sure to have annual pap smears to monitor for any sign of HPV.

There is a vaccine for HPV called Gardasil but works best if used prior to sexual activity. Condoms are recommended as well.
