    Question

I'm on that new birth control that makes you have a period every three months. I haven't had any side effects other than lately i've been having brown discharge (while i'm not even close to having my scheduled period), and it doesn't look like the usual old blood. Also i have sex about once a month with my partner and i've been having more pain than usualy during sex. What should i do?

    Answer

All we can say is see your doctor for an exam and maybe screening for sexually transmitted infections. Good luck!
