Question

I was in a 3 month relationship. I got pregnant 2 months after I knew him. He became to verbally abuse me, calling me names in front of family, coming to my job trying to get me fired, threatening me and the unborn baby. What should I do once the child is born?

Answer

I am sorry you are living with such abuse. Please call your local Women's Shelter or Battered Women's Hotline and ask for support. They will know where to send you to get a restraining order that will protect you and the baby. A national hotline that can help is: www.ndvh.org/. Good luck!
