    Question

I have been having vaginal problems for over a year and this whole time i have been sexually active with the same partner. I keep going back to the doctors sometimes having yeast infections, uti, and now my current problem BV. I got medicine for it and it seemed to have gone away, but now after i have my periods it seems to keep coming back. I hate going back and forth to the doctors. Is this something that will go away or is it something i should go back to the doctors for? Also, could this have anything to do with my boyfriend. He won't go the doctors and says he has nothing because he has no symptoms.

    Answer

Please tell your boyfriend that many people will have NO symptoms, especially men - and that he is likely reinfecting you! My suggestion - go to the doctor, get treated (and ask if she will prescribe a secnd dose for your partner) and then do not have any sexual contact for one month - and I bet the symptoms do not return. If you go back to sex and the symptoms return - chances are good he is infected.
