Question
I met a girl at a party recently and had some brief french kissing sessions with her. As I did not really know her, I am worried that I could catch an STD. What are the chances of that, and is kissing consider safe?
Answer
Kissing is considered low risk because there is not a huge amount of body fluid (like saliva) exchanged. That said, herpes can be transmitted orally, but not likely unless the person had an outbreak in their mouth.
