hi, i am fourteen and i started to have brownish stuff come out, but i haven't started my first period. i had a couple days of this then a tiny bit ol blood came out. have i officially started my period?

Sure sounds like it to me! Congratulations. If you keep track on a calendar, you will likely start to see a pattern, and the brown will be more like blood. You can notice things like cramps, low back pain, and feeling bloated, tired or diarrhea, which may all be related, and give you warning before another period starts.
