    Question

i have been sexual abused and molested by my step dad my family already went to court for this .. i have moved on from the past and it doesnt bother me but i notice that i have started to get annoyed fast and start to have an attiutude . i also stop going to theraphy because everything got better? what can i do?

    Answer

Dear Teen, It sounds like you took good steps in the past to deal with the situation related to being sexually abused. Therapy will often help a person to better understand their feelings related to trauma and can help with the healing process. It sounds like at this time in your life you may be experiencing some new emotions, such as irritability. This may be related to your past experience, or possibly current stressful situations. This could reflect that you are feeling down or even depressed. I encourage you to get some support either from a friend, parent or a therapist to help you understand and express what you are feeling at this time.
