Question

My daughter is 17 and had a clear discharge and small seed-like strands. Also very sore around vagina during her period. Should I take her for an exam? She hasnot been to a OB/GYN yet.

Answer

Always a good idea for teens to see their doctor to be able to ask questions about their changing body. Remember to let her attend the exam alone, so she and the doctor can talk confidentially.
