    Question

I have a severe sleeping disorder and it's interferring with my life. I've had a sleep study and everything came back normal. If I'm not active I fall asleep, even when I'm trying to stay awake. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME I'M AN 18 YEAR OLD FEMALE AND THIS THING (DISEASE) IS RUINING MY LIFE.

    Answer

You may have sleep deprivation, narcolepsy, or one of various disorders that can cause unusual daytime sleepiness. With a normal sleep study, and if you are already getting 7 hours of sleep a night or more, you should see a neurologist for further evaluation.
