Question
I am 13. I don't have my period and I have vaginal discharge every day. I AM REALLY SCARED!!! When do you think I will get my period? Is it normal for me to have vaginal discharge everyday? Sometimes it's white and sometimes it's clear.
Answer
You are perfectly normal and the fact that the discharge is clear (and I assume stretchy) sometimes suggests that your hormones are doing their job and your periods should start soon. The discharge is tied to your hormones, which is why it changes during your cycle, which is probably about 28 days - from the first day of one period until the next. Girls start having the hormones cycle up to a year before the actual periods start. No worries!
