Question
My relationship has been over 2 years, and he asked about sex. I know for a fact I am not ready for it. But either way, just asking questions here. After having sex, do I report to a doctor?
What if I don't bleed? Is that normal? and do I (have) to get on birth control, considering it was my first time and I don't plan on doing it until marriage at least. Please respond.
Answer
If you are not ready, please do not have sex, and even end the relationship if he will not respect that choice. You will need to see a doctor BEFORE you have sex - for an exam, and to start a reliable method of birth control - I suggest a month before you have sex, and you both need to learn how to use condoms. If you are not ready to make that appointment, both go, and talk to the doctor, then you are not ready for sex, or the responsibilities an risks associated with it. Hold your ground - you are worth it!
