Question
When my two (almost three) year-old son was playing in the bath, he was playing with his penis out of curiosity. When he was getting out of the bath his penis was hard, and I noticed it wasn't straight. It was curved and pointing up. He was crying when it happened and as it went down he was fine. Should I be alarmed? I don't know what to make of it.
Answer
It's difficult to diagnose without seeing him, but if your two-year-old son has a painful, curved penis during an erection, he should be evaluated by his physician or a pediatric urologist the determine the cause of his symptoms.
