    Question

I ended my period a week ago, then yesterday I noticed I have have brown discharge on my underwear, and today I still have it. I am wondering if this could be related to the fact that I started exersizing a little last week and that I have changed my eating patterns a little, as well. I have not had sex yet, and I'm pretty sure I haven't come into contact with any semen. Is this normal or should I be worrying?

    Answer

Because you are not sexually active, it is likely nothing to worry about. It may be old blood (and my own kids swear they might have a little brown discharge when someone else in the family starts a period). I always say keep track and if it seems to be getting worse, see a doctor.
