    Question

I started going into puberty at age 8, developed breast buds, discharge, etc. Then I got an eating disorder. I recovered within 2-3 years and develpoed all those things again except my period. I got anorexia when I was 11 and have recovered within the past year. I am now 13, 14 in June, and 4'10 and weigh 89 lbs. and have all the puberty symtoms back -- including arm hair, pubic hair, discharge, stomach cramps, etc. Do you know when I may get my period?

    Answer

It can take 1-2 years after maintaining a healthy weight before the menstrual cycle resumes.
