Question
My daughter has started her period, and she's 8. Is there anything special I need to do for her as far as nutrition, as she is still growing and developing?
Answer
She should actually see her pediatrician and get a referral to a pediatric endocrinologist. This is a little too early to start a menstrual cycle.
