    Question

    I actually have two questions. First, if if an uninfected person receives oral sex from an infected person, can they get Chlamydia. And second, can an uninfected person get Chlamydia if they perform oral sex on an infected person.

    Answer

    Yes, and yes, although the actual numbers for risk and incidence are hard to come by. Certainly, it is best transmitted genital to genital, but it has definitely been spread genital-oral-genital, probably oral-genital-oral as well. Organism doesn't seem to live long in oral cavity, and of course doesn't produce the same complications in that location we worry about (discharge, reactive arthritis, infertility in women).
