    Question

Hi. My problem is that I can't communicate with people. While talking to other people, I feel that I have no importance and the second person is not happy to talk with me. Because of these feelings I just can't make new friends. I face many problems in adjusting in a new environment. Please help me. I am too upset.

    Answer

Well, you just did a great job communicating to me. I suggest you give yourself some credit and be more confident. Everyone finds it hard to make friends and talk to strangers, but it is just a skill. It will be easier if they talk, so ask them questions about their work, family, hobbies, anything to keep them talking. Most importantly, keep practicing. Of course, talking to a counselor might help, too!
