    Question

I've had the depo-provera shot twice, and I haven't missed or been late for them. I'm about to get my third injection. My question is, My boyfriend and I had sex without a condom and he did ejaculate inside of me. I freaked out a little and called planned parenthood about the morning after pill. They wouldn't sell it to me because they said that the depo-provera shot is "full proof" and I don't need it. Should I worry? Or should I go take a home pregnancy test as soon as possible? I would hope that the nurse was right and didn't stear me wrong. My boyfriend and I aren't planning to have kids until after we're married and out of college.

    Answer

In fact, you are likely protected from pregnancy by the Depo shot, but sexually transmitted infections are a risk without a condom. Please try to relax and be a little more careful about remembering the condoms.
