Question

My daughter is 10 years old. She was peeing today, and when she wiped there was a light reddish color. What does that mea? She said it also hurts when she pees. Could it be her changing and getting ready to start or something else?

Answer

She may have a urinary tract infection, so see her doctor. The test is an easy urine test. If it is her period, you will know if it gets heavier or happens again in a few weeks.
