    Question

Can a person get mulluscum only by direct contact from someone who already has it? It's not a full breakout, it's just two very small bumps that the doctor examined and confirmed as mulluscum.

    Answer

Molluscum can be spread by skin-to-skin contact. However, the virus can also get on towels or bath sponges, and be spread from one person to another without actual skin-to-skin contact.
