    Question

I'm always concerned about the week after my menstral cycle, when I've taken sugar pills for a week. Are the chances of getting pregnant greater during that first week after menstruation?

    Answer

You are not any more likely to get pregnant that week if you take your birth control pills regularly the other days. If you worry, use a condom, too! The condom will also protect you from sexually transmitted infections.
