    Question

I started BC (trinessa) six months ago. I've only been with my husband. I'm getting my pharmacy doctorate, and am worried I might be pregnant. I had thick, light pink discharge a week before my period. Then (a day later) it became brown. My period is supposed to start, and I still have brown discharge. I did have a pap smear two weeks ago.

    Answer

Pap does not test for sexually transmitted infections (STIs). I would suggest you get tested for STIs.
