Question
I have a retainer on top and bottom. I can take them out. Should I take them out when I make out with my boyfriend?

There is no medical reason to take them out, but kissing someone with a retainer is weird and yucky. I suggest you do not wear them, but be careful to put them in their case when you take them out so you do not have to explain how they were lost or broken while you were with the boyfriend.
