Question
Recently, my boyfriend's penis has changed in color. It seems that lately his penis is getting darker. It is now the fall, and we never went skinny dipping for his member to tan like the rest of his body. Could this be a sign of an undetected STD? Why would a man's penis change color?

The discoloration of the skin could be normal pigment change or related to a skin condition. It is always difficult to tell without examining the patient and obtaining an accurate history. While it does not sound like a sexually transmitted illness, it is impossible to tell without careful history and exam.
