Question

Hi. I'm 16 and yes I am sexually active. I have been on birth control for eight months and my boyfriend and I use a condom everytime. We do have sex quite often. Atleast four times a week. I had my last period a week ago. I have never had this happen, but I am having a brown discharge and its is thick. I've had it for three days now and it has a little odor but only if you are very close. I take two showers a day. So can you please tell me what I should do?

Answer

Off to the doctor is what I vote -- especially if you are due for your annual pap test. Make sure to tell the doctor about the discharge and sexual activity. Planned Parenthood will work if you do not want to see your family doctor.
