    Question

im really stressed and i snap at people really easily.. i also feel lyk there's no one to talk to because its not important enough to tell people like councilers. i don't know what to do any more and i feel like things would just be better if i was dead/died.

    Answer

Dear Teen: Your problem is definitely important enough to tell a counselor or any other trusted adult. It sounds like you are depressed and have symptoms of irritability and hopelessness. The good news is there is plenty of help available for people suffering from depression. You are not alone as it is the most common reason people come in to talk to a counselor. Don't suffer in silence any longer, but find out how some talk therapy or possibly medication can be very helpful to you.You can ask your school counselor or physician where to find some help in your community.
